Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 3 Top Moments

There were some key moments that can be called as Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 3 top moments. I couldn’t take my eyes off from my TV for even a single second. It was simply fantastic.

Meeting of Ice & Fire – Jon Snow Meets Daenerys Stormborn – The Most Awaited Moment on Game of Thrones

According to David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the spine of the episode is about the first meeting of Ice and Fire – Jon Snow and Daenerys Stormborn.

Jon Snow doesn’t have much idea about what Daenerys has gone through. Jon refuses to bend his knee to the Mother of Dragons as he probably he sees a rich girl with a fancy name sitting in a big chair with a fancy dress on proclaiming herself as the queen of the world. He doesn’t have much respect for her perhaps at this moment. He didn’t come to Dragonstone to join her in her fight against Cersei. None of that matters for him at this point. All that matters is fighting the dead.

According to Weiss, she looks at him and she thinks that he is some unwashed barbarian from the north, and he is a bastard and yet he’s calling himself king. If she perhaps knew what he’d seen she’d be looking very very differently at what he’s telling her. But at this point in time, she only sees Jon as someone who’s trying to carve up her piece of her kingdom for himself. And Dany is thinking that if what this guy is saying is true, then it really is an issue.  But Dany has her own very serious issues to deal with in the shape of the woman who’s now sitting on the throne. Cersei is a murderous vicious woman, capable of insane amounts of brutality without a second thought if she feels like it’s what needs to be done.

After Tyrion’s advice, Dany agrees to have Jon mine the dragonglass. That is the first step from her side to make Jon an ally and to show good faith.

The Battle of Casterly Rock – One of Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 3 Top Moments

According to David Benioff and Weiss, everyone realizes the two pulls of power for Cersei and Jaime at this point are Kings Landing and Casterly Rock. But Jaime also knows that he doesn’t have the forces to defend both. So he makes the strategic decision to give up Casterly Rock, to use it as a decoy, to lure the Unsullied over there to take it and to get them on the exact wrong side of the continent. The siege of Casterly Rock is so much about what doesn’t happen, how it goes contrary to expectations, so in order for us to understand that it doesn’t play out the way Tyrion expects it to, you really need to hear Tyrion’s expectations.

Jaime goes after the Highgarden, which is for him much more valuable because of Highgarden’s Tyrell’s stronghold, which commands almost all the fertile regions of Westeros. They are the wealthiest house but fighting isn’t really their forte.

Death Scene of Olenna Tyrell – One of Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 3 Top Moments

Jaime thinks that he finally got to turn the tables on someone. But Olena still wins the scene. The one thing that she does have left to live for is the thing she saves for the very end of the scene. The piece of information that she’s been sitting on since season four. She beats him in the middle of her own death scene, and there’s nothing he can do about it. He knows that its true the moment she says it, “Tell Cersei I wanted to her to know that it was me”. She admits to Jaime that he killed his and Cersei’s son, King Joffrey, on his wedding day with Margaery Tyrell.

Brandon Stark Comes Back to Winterfell And Unites With Sansa Stark

Brandon Stark is finally at his home in Winterfell. But at this point, he is more worried about fighting the Night King. He wants to tell Jon Snow about the truth behind him being half Targaryen and half Stark. This is really important because it’s highly likely that Jon Snow will be riding one of the dragons, possibly Rhaegal in season 8 in the battle against the army of the dead.

Jorah Mormont’s Greyscale Gets Cured – Another One of The Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 3 Top Moments

Jorah’s greyscale is cured at the moment by Samwell Tarly and he is off to fight alongside Daenerys. This is a defining moment as Samwell Tarly has discovered a way to provide treatment for greyscale to patients who are not young and whose disease is advanced. Archmaester Marwyn is pleased with Sam and has tasked Sam with organizing manuscripts which will ultimately become the book called ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’.

Game of Thrones ‘The Queen’s Justice’

Game of Thrones ‘The Queen’s Justice’ episode will air this Sunday on July 30 at 9 pm EST. You can watch it for free by following the suggestions in this post. From the sneak peek released by HBO it seems that ‘The Queen’s Justice’ will keep the viewers in awe. Here is what might happen in the episode:

Daenerys to meet Jon Snow in Game of Thrones ‘The Queen’s Justice’

It is clear from the preview that Jon Snow, along with Ser Davos Seaworth is set to meet with Daenerys Stormborn. The duo will come face to face for the first time in the series. Remember that Jon Snow and Daenerys are still unaware that they are related by blood. In the last season, it was revealed that Jon Snow is actually the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. Dany is expecting the King in the North to bend his knee to the Queen of Dragons.

Possible Death of Grey Worm in Game of Thrones ‘The Queen’s Justice’

Last week, we saw Missandei and Grey Worm making love to each other. Viewers have waited long enough for that to happen. Grey Worm will be going to Casterly Rock to take the castle away from the Lannisters. The directors most likely wanted to give Grey Worm an amazing send off before he gets killed at Casterly Rock. Missandei and Grey Worm deserve this special sex scene and love making after all these years of adoring each other.

Euron Greyjoy to Gift Ellaria Sand to Cersei Lannister

Euron Greyjoy is going to gift Ellaria Sand to Queen Cersei. What would Cersei do? Accept Euron’s gift and marry him? HBO tagline for the episode says that Cersei returns a gift. Would Cersei trust Euron? Cersei is one of wiliest persons in Game of Thrones and she is too drunk in power. It’s quite likely that she will use Euron to her best possible advantage.

Is Tyrion Lannister in trouble?

After the defeat of Yara Greyjoy and Ellaria Sand at the naval battle against Euron, Queen of Dragons is not gonna be happy with Tyrion Lannister. Also, Tyrion forgot to mention to Jon Snow that Dany expects Jon Snow to bend the knee.

Watch Varys and Melisandre

Dany and Varys in conversation in 'The Queen's Justice'

Dany and Varys in conversation in ‘The Queen’s Justice’ Credits: HBO

Varys got an earful from Daenerys in the last episode as Varys is the shrewdest person who has switched loyalties in the past. Varys is advising Dany in the episode from HBO’s released pictures. Would Varys remain loyal to Tyrion or will he advise Dany against him for making mistakes?

Varys and Melisandre in 'The Queen's Justice'

Varys is in a deep conversation with Melisandre, ‘the red priestess’, in the pictures released by HBO. What are they both discussing? Remember that Melisandre burnt Stannis Baratheon’s daughter Shireen alive and that was a big mistake. Melisandre can go to any length when it comes to her visions. Another point to note is that Ser Davos and Jon Snow do not trust Melisandre at all. It will be interesting to see what will happen when Melisandre comes face to face with Ser Davos and Jon Snow at Dragonstone.

Would Jaime Lannister Learn From His Mistakes And Seal Cersei’s Fate?

HBO’s another tagline of the episode says that Jaime learns from his mistakes. Jaime has made many mistakes in the past because of his love for Cersei. But Cersei is all about power that she has no regrets even of her son Tommen’s suicide. In my opinion, Cersei has no interest in sharing the Iron Throne with Jaime Lannister. May be Jaime comes to his senses soon and kills Cersei Lannister before she kills more people for her hunger for power.

The Starks – Arya and Sansa- and Littlefinger

Littlefinger and Sansa Stark in 'The Queen's Justice

When Arya comes to know that Jon Snow has taken Winterfell back from the Boltons in the last episode she quits her plan to go to Kings Landing. Arya heads to Winterfell where her sister, Sansa Stark, is now the Queen of the North in Jon Snow’s absence. Arya has never liked Sansa much in the past and Littlefinger is still trying to seduce Sansa. It will be exciting to see how Arya handles Littlefinger with her assassin and disguise skills.

Jorah’s Letter to Daenerys Stormborn

Jorah's letter to Daenerys in the episode Stormborn

Jorah’s letter to Daenerys in the episode Stormborn

The contents of Jorah’s letter to Daenerys Stormborn were released by the Game of Thrones official twitter account. When Archmaester Marwyn tells Jorah Mormont that his greyscale cannot be cured he pens a letter to Daenerys. Jorah had promised Dany in season 6 that he will do his best to find a cure for greyscale. Dany is unaware that Jorah is at Citadel. So Jorah pens a letter to Dany thinking that he is gonna die of his disease.

Before Jorah's letter to Daenerys

Jorah getting treated by Sam Tarly

Jorah says in his letter that, ” Khaleesi, I came to the Citadel in the last hope that the maesters could treat me, as you ordered. Even with all their arts, I am beyond any cure but the grave. I have had a longer life than I deserved, and I only wish I could’ve lived to see the world you’re going to build, standing by your side. I have loved you since the moment I met you.”

While he is writing he is interrupted by Samwell Tarly. Sam is not willing to give up on Jorah’s condition yet. Viewers, in the next few episodes, will find out whether Jorah finally gets cured or not. The contents of Jorah’s letter to Daenerys Stormborn will hopefully not come true. We are all rooting for him to live. Samwell’s Tarly bravery will most likely save Jorah’ s life and find a cure for Greyscale. Hopefully, Sam’s procedure will save many more lives in the future. Viewers definitely wanna see Jorah by Dany’s side when she fights the Night King along with Jon Snow.

Euron Greyjoy Will Die – Pilou Asbaek

Euron Greyjoy at Kings Landing

Game of Thrones star Pilou Asbaek reveals that Euron Greyjoy is gonna die and the way it will happen will be spectacular. In Pilou’s words, he said that “Euron knows his time is spare. He knows he’s going to die at one point. And if you ask me, it’s probably going to be spectacular. I hope so. But right now, he’s in for a ride.”

Why Euron Wants to Kill Yara and Theon?

Speaking to Variety, Pilou Asbaek admitted that he has no clue why Euron wants to kill Yara and Theon as Euron hardly knows his brother’s kids. May be for Euron it’s all about power and redeeming himself. Also, he holds a grudge against Yara Greyjoy for standing against him at the Kingsmoot. Well, I think he would have murdered them anyway.

The Connection Between Euron Greyjoy, Cersei, and Donald Trump?

Asked if Euron can be compared to Donald Trump, Pilou Asbaek said that comparing Euron Greyjoy to Donald Trump is tough. We know he has to stay neutral on this comment, doesn’t he? He just wishes that American people are happy and he wishes them good luck. Well, we know that Cersei Lannister has been compared to Donald Trump. She does everything in the name of making Westeros great again.

Right now, Euron has high hopes from Cersei. He is taking a gift with him to Kings Landing which I assume will be Ellaria Sand and he wishes for Cersei to be happy with his gift and marry him. World domination is what Euron has on his mind. Cersei will most likely take advantage of Euron. Euron thinks he is smart but Cersei is the queen of manipulation. Let’s see how far the maniacal Euron goes before he is crushed by either Danaerys’s dragons.

From the trailer and the pictures recently released by HBO, it seems like that Samwell Tarly’s raven got to Jon Snow telling him that there is tons of dragon glass at Dragonstone and some people in the north are not okay with asking anything from a Targaryen (as Targaryens can’t be trusted). Seems like Ser Davos and Jon Snow are gonna travel to Dragonstone.

On the other hand, Yara Greyjoy and Ellaria just want to attack Kings Landing ASAP as they seem to be convincing Daenerys hard to get Cersei out of Kings Landing.

Also, we can expect some kind of confrontation from Littlefinger and Jon Snow.

And Arya Stark is set to meet with her wolf Nymeria, a reunion that we all have been waiting for. And she is still determined to take her revenge from Cersei Lannister for killing her father.
