We all saw the suicide squad fighting the zombie polar bear in Beyond The Wall. That zombie polar bear took the life of Thoros the Myr. Game of Thrones cast and crew talk about this beast created with special effects.
Zombie Polar Bear: Cast and Crew Reaction
Says Joe Bauer, VFX Supervisor, “You’re in a blizzard, your visibility is 10 feet. You’ve got something that’s out there that you don’t know where it’s gonna come from. It’s very much like a sharp knife.“
Alan Taylor took this episode of Game of Thrones Season 7 as a challenge. This episode featured two special features, a zombie polar bear, and resurrection of Viserion.
We felt like a real collaboration in building this sequence. It was the script, it was the effect and then it was my ideas. And also I’ve worked with a wonderful storyboard artist Richard who made the scene.”
Kit Harington (Jon Snow) shared his thoughts as well, “We did it in a big CGI box and they said to us at the start this is gonna be quite confusing because you won’t have any sense of direction and it was a bit weird.”
Indeed it must have been weird as there was no polar bear but a big guy wearing a green suit. Rory McCann (Sandor Clegane aka The Hound) says jokingly, “I’ve had people going off when I will come towards you I’m a bear, no you’re not. His name is Tofy. It was pretty weird, to be honest“.

Night King Resurrects Viserion: Behind The Scenes
Game of Thrones Revealed, a 7 part series of behind the scenes action on Game of Thrones released a video on how the Night King resurrected Viserion towards the end of the episode “Beyond The Wall“.
The fun part is watching Night King (Vladimir Furdik) giving a signal that he is ready to resurrect Viserion. Also, it is interesting to know that David Benioff and Dan Weiss didn’t have a script for Beyond The Wall when they approached Alan Taylor to direct this episode.
Viserion Resurrection: Special Effects
The special effects are quite phenomenal for this particular part of the frozen lake battle.
Says Dan Weiss, “We knew that the Night King would see and seize this opportunity and like to think that. When the dragon dies that it’s kind of a nice one-two punch. On the one hand, you’re just seeing that the horror of one of these three only unique amazing beings like this in the world going under the water and not coming up again.“
Viserion Sinks Into The Lake
“And you’re processing something that’s even worse which is when it comes back out from under the water again what happens then.“
The eyes of the white walkers and the wights are a prominent feature of the show. A lot of work has gone into the specifics of the eyes of the wights and the white walkers. The Game of Thrones crew put a lot of effort into the iconic image of Viserion’s eye turning blue. It was the oh shit moment where everyone realized that the Night King has resurrected Viserion.
Night King Resurrects Viserion
It will be fun to see behind the scenes footage of Viserion emitting blue fire to destroy the wall in the next video of Game of Thrones Revealed series.

This short video is just a teaser to the whole version of the conquest of Westeros by Aegon Targaryen. Harry Lloyd (Viserys Targaryen) has narrated the story. With the doom of Valyria, some Targaryens moved to Dragonstone. Aegon Targaryen had his eyes on Westeros and saw an opportunity. Westeros at that time was fractured with squabbling lords of the so-called Seven Kingdoms. Westeros had no true leader at that time. Aegon decided to conquer Westeros along with his two sisters who were also his wives, Visenya Targaryen and Rhaenys Targaryen.
The full version of this amazing story of the conquest by Aegon Targaryen is going to be mind-blowing. The full version will be available in December along with the Game of Thrones Season 7 DVD/Blu-Ray release.

Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen are a couple that many fans adore. Even the incest is not bothersome when it comes to both of them. Jon and Dany are unaware that they are related. But Jon Snow and Daenerys could find their incestuous relationship more disturbing than one thought.
Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen Incest May Be Even Darker
In the books of GRRM, Daenerys’ account of her childhood is questionable as she remembers a lemon tree where she grew up in Braavos; but lemon trees don’t grow in Braavos, they grow in Dorne.
Skeptics have speculated that the Mother of Dragons was actually lied to about her upbringing because she was taken into hiding from an early age. What’s worse, it may be possible that she was taken into hiding for the same reason as Jon Snow: she’s the daughter of Rhaeger Targaryen and not Aerys Targaryen.
Should the theory come to light in season eight, Jon Snow and Daenerys are actually brother and sister. That’s the same level of incest as that of Cersei Lannister and Jaime Lannister. Also, the infamous brother and sister Targaryen incest.
Alfie Allen Adds Fuel To The Fire
Alfie Allen who plays Theon Greyjoy said in an interview with Vulture: “You know, I asked [George] about who Jon Snow’s real parents were, and he told me. I can’t say who, but I can tell you that it involves a bit of a Luke Skywalker situation.”
Alfie, here, refers to Star Wars’ where Luke and Princess Leia awkwardly flirted for a period but later learned they were twins.
Well, that just makes their incest the true Targaryen brother sister incest. We will only know for sure when Game of Thrones Season 8 will air. The premiere date is still unknown and HBO is playing hard to avoid the leaks this time.
In the final moments of Game of Thrones‘ seventh season, we saw the Night King bring down the Wall at Eastwatch-by-the-Sea and then crossing into Westeros with the army of the dead at his back. There are a couple of places the Night King might be heading while mounted on undead/wight dragon Viserion, along with his army of the dead.
Can he be headed to Isle of Faces? Possibly, yes. The Isle of Faces is an island located at the center of Gods Eye, an immense lake on the south-eastern edge of the Riverlands and the north-western edge of the Crownlands. The castle of Harrenhal lies on the coast of the lake to the north of the isle.
Isle of Faces on Westeros Map
The Isle of Faces has significant importance for the people of Westeros. It is regarded as a sacred place where the Old of Westeros . According to a myth, it was here that the Children of the Forest and the First Men signed The Pact, the treaty that ended centuries of warfare between the two peoples.
The Pact Between The Children of the Forest and the First Men
Priests of the Old Gods known as the Green Men dwell here since the Andals invasion. According to legend, the island is filled with weirwood trees. Each of the trees has a face, carved in witness to the signing of the Pact. Rumor is that the Green Men keep the common folk of Westeros away from the Isle of Faces with magic. The Night King might want to use the magical powers of the Isle to give life to his undead army. Game of Thrones series has mentioned Gods Eye a few times inwhere the isle of faces resides.
Night King Headed to Winterfell and then Isle of Faces?
Army of the Dead forms a Stark Sigil at Eastwatch
There was this a tiny detail in Game of Thrones Season 7 finale where army of the dead while crossing the wall at Eastwatch formed a Stark sigil. Some people have theorized that Brandon Stark is the Night King which the actor Isaac Hempstead Wright who plays Brandon Stark has rejected. What if the Night King is Brandon Stark? Anyway, the first stop for the Night King after taking Castle Black will most likely be Winterfell. We will most likely witness a battle between Jon Snow, Daenerys and her dragons and the Night King and his undead dragon.
To go more crazy, Night King (who is Brandon Stark?) will march upon Winterfell and then King’s Landing. He will kill all the main surviving characters of Game of Thrones and then go to the Gods Eye where Isle of Faces is and revive all those who are dead. A win in the end for Westerosis. So basically Brandon will totally annihilate the army of the dead and bring everyone back to the living.
Let’s see if this crazy theory plays out this way. What do you all think? Leave your comments.
Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) in Game of Thrones has been the romantic subject of Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju) since Game of Thrones Season 6. Brienne is creeped out by the looks Tormund gives her. Gwendoline Christie recently told that Kristofer continues to creep out Gwendoline even off screen.
Tormund and Brienne of Tarth Off Screen
Speaking on the Late Night with Seth Meyers this week, Christie spoke of how Hivju “likes to continue being in character even off set”. “He will start chewing a sandwich wildly at me… really kind of making love to that sandwich as he eyeballs me,” she said.
Tormund Looking Weirdly At Brienne While Eating Sandwich
About some of the looks, Hivju gives her as part of his role, Christie added: “In the script, it simply said, ‘Tormund gives Brienne a look’. I was not expecting the power, the magnitude of sort of intense sexual intention to pour out of a man’s eyes and cover me.”
Well, Tormund does want to make babies with Brienne of Tarth, monstrous babies, like he expressed to The Hound on their mission beyond the wall.
We will see how Tormund and Brienne of Tarth love story will play out in Game of Thrones Season 8. The show’s producers are reportedly considering a plan to begin filming Game Of Thrones season 8 in October 2017, with production set to carry through all the way until August 2018. This could delay the episodes’ air date until 2019.
HBO programming boss Casey Bloys said: “Our production people are trying to figure out a timeline for the shoot and how much time the special effects take. The shooting is complicated enough — on different continents, with all the technical aspects — and the special effects are a whole other production period that we’re trying to figure out. That is a big factor in all of this.”
Check out Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) talking about Tormund’s (Kristofer Hivju) creepiness in this interview.
Brandon Stark and Littlefinger had a very interesting moment in Game of Thrones Season 7. When Littlefinger gives Brandon the Catspaw dagger Bran utters this phrase, ‘Chaos is a ladder‘ which takes Littlefinger by surprise. Littlefinger had said these exact words to Varys in one of his conversations with him.
Chaos Is A Ladder – Littlefinger to Varys
Isaac Hempstead Wright, the actor who plays Brandon Stark in Game of Thrones in fact enjoyed that moment when he freaked out Littlefinger. Says Isaac Hempstead Wright, “Saying ’chaos is a ladder’ to Littlefinger was so cool, though. I felt so badass in that scene, like, ‘Chaos is a ladder … yeeaaaah. How do you like that, Littlefinger?'” Yeah, that definitely freaked out Littlefinger.
Brandon Stark was also at times creepy and mostly cold in Game of Thrones Season 7. He came across as a total jerk when he recalled the night Sansa got married to Ramsay Bolton and was raped. Well, Isaac Hempstead Wright just apologized for his creepy behavior as Brandon Stark.
Brandon Stark With His Sisters, Arya Stark and Sansa Stark
Adds Isaac, ”Yeah, sorry about that. There were some cool bits to get to play, less so that creepy moment with Sansa. That was weird. I don’t think Bran meant that in a weird way. I don’t think he’s trying to freak his sister out by going, ‘Yeah, I know everything. Don’t f**k with me’. It’s more like Bran is processing everything he’s seen, like, ‘I’ve seen you there. That happened to you. I’m sorry for what happened to you’.”
Brandon Stark – Three Eyed Raven
And about the cold behavior of Brandon Stark, says Isaac, “Bran has lost that emotional connection. He just states what he sees in an almost autistic way, not really connecting with things but just saying how they are.”
“That was a bit confusing. The way I understand, it works like Bran has access. It’s like he’s got a Kindle library of every book of everything that’s ever happened in the world. He can access any of it in a heartbeat, but he hasn’t yet sat there and read it all. The old Three-Eyed Raven had a thousand years to sit in that cave to read every single page of everything that’s happened in the universe, and therefore be completely all knowing. Bran isn’t completely omniscient. He can look up anything he wants, but he hasn’t got it all by heart yet.“
“At that moment [in the finale], Bran was like, “Oh, yup, Rhaegar was [Jon’s] dad,” but he doesn’t think to explore it further. When Samwell Tarly says that [Rhaegar and Lyanna] were married, he can then confirm it. When his sisters come to him offscreen and go, “Can you look up what is the real deal with Littlefinger?” He can go, “He said this and this and this.”
Well, now we know why Brandon Stark is being so creepy and cold. The full interview can be found here.
Seems like not only Sansa Stark but even Sophie Turner has had it with Littlefinger. Littlefinger has some fans on social media. When some fans thought that Littlefinger’s death was unjustified and that Sansa shouldn’t have passed the sentence to kill Littlefinger Sophie Turner interjected her own thoughts. Sophie Turner Shot Down Littlefinger apologists on twitter.
How Sophie Turner Shot Down Littlefinger Apologists
Sophie Turner weighed in on Twitter when some Littlefinger fans thought he didn’t deserve to die and he never harmed Sansa.
Nah.. just willingly sold her to the Boltons…. Who killed her family… who ended up torturing her…. but ur right.. no harm done 👍
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau who plays Jaime Lannister in Game of Thrones has dropped some spoilers on what might happen to Jaime’s character in Game of Thrones Season 8.
Will Jaime Lannister Become an Undead Wight?
Says Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, “The fear is that I would be turned into one of those undead. That would suck. You know some of the main characters are going to get turned. There are going to be some blue-eyed main characters running around. And, god, I hope it’s not me. That’s three hours of make-up in the morning. I know that if David Benioff and Dan Weiss read this, they’ll go, “Oh, yes we will.”
Jaime Lannister in Game of Thrones Season 7 Finale
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau also confirmed that he is definitely heading north. He also has a Valyrian steel sword which will be very useful in killing the white walkers. “I do think he’s heading north, unless he’s tricking us all and goes south and just says, “I’m getting the hell out of here.” The double-double-double cross. “I lost my hand, what am I even going to do up there?” He could just be in a row boat getting away. No, I do believe that he’s joining them in the north. You know there are all these swords of Valyrian steel, and you would think those five would all be somewhere in the mix.”
Jaime leaves Kings Landing
Why The Mountain Didn’t Kill Jaime Lannister?
Cersei Orders Mountain to Kill Jaime
Nikolaj talked about the confusing moment in the finale in which Jaime was able to walk away from his family member alive. “There’s a moment of disbelief that he’s actually walking away from her. It could also just be that her little pet weapon didn’t get the subtlety of the hand signal.”
“He’s really thick. That’s the problem when you bring someone back from the dead: They’re very dumb. You have to be really specific with your orders.”
So, Jaime is definitely headed north far away from Cersei. Will he bend the knee to Daenerys Targaryen? That remains to be seen. The full interview can be read here.
Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen, also known as Daenerys Stormborn, are all set to become a couple. Let’s take a look at all the special moments of their journey.
When Jon Snow and Daenerys First Met
Jon Snow and Daenerys first meet at Dragonstone, the birth place of Daenerys Targaryen and the power seat of House Targaryen.
When Jon Saw Daenerys For The First Time At Dragonstone
Daenerys is expecting Jon Snow to bend the knee. Jon Snow refuses to honor the pledge his ancestor, Torrhen Stark made to Aegon Targaryen to swear fealty to House Targaryen in perpetuity. He reminds Daenerys that her father burnt his grandfather and his uncle alive at the Red Keep. So he doesn’t feel any allegiance towards Targaryens. Daenerys asks for forgiveness for all the crimes her father has committed against the Starks. She requests Jon Snow to not judge a daughter by the actions of her father.
Daenerys Asks For Forgiveness For All The Crimes Her Father Has Committed
Jon still refuses to bend the knee and tells Daenerys that her war against Cersei is meaningless as the Army of the Dead is marching upon the living and she will rule over a graveyard if she doesn’t help Jon to defeat the Night King and his army of the dead. Daenerys claims that she is the rightful heir to the Iron Throne and all the years her faith in Daenerys Targaryen is what has kept her going through all the hardships she has faced.
Daenerys Tells Jon About Her Faith in Herself
Later on, they exchange many glances full of admiration towards each other. Jon Snow is touched when Daenerys says that she will let Jon mine the dragonglass and will provide whatever help he needs for that. Daenerys is touched by his bravery to come alone to Dragonstone knowing that he could have been captured by her army or burnt alive by her dragons but he showed faith in her.

Jon Snow and Daenerys Inside A Cave At Dragonstone
In the episode Spoils of War, Jon takes Daenerys inside a cave beneath Dragonstone. He shows Daenerys the dragonglass he will be mining and paintings made by Children of the Forest. Daenerys is amazed by looking at them.
Daenerys Looking at Cave Paintings
Jon also shows her the paintings of White Walkers made by the Children of the Forest. Both of them are standing very close to each other. You can feel the heat and sexual tension between them.
When they are coming outside from the cave you can see the Fire and Ice together, only that the Fire is on the side of Jon and Ice is on the side of Daenerys.
Fire and Ice – Jon and Daenerys walking out of Dragonstone
Such is the amount of trust building between them that Daenerys asks Jon for advice after she hears the news about Jamie Lannister taking the Highgarden.
Daenerys Asks Jon for Advice
Jon Snow, Daenerys and Drogon
Daenerys is further pulled towards Jon when she flies back from the Loot Train Battle to Dragonstone. Drogon bonds with Jon Snow and Daenerys is impressed with that. It probably reminded her of the time when she took her first ride on Drogon.
Dany and Jon when they touch Drogon
Further, when Jon Snow is leaving for Eastwatch, Daenerys fondly tells him that she has grown used to him.
Jon and Daenerys Before Jon Leaves Dragonstone To Go To Eastwatch
The Frozen Lake Battle and Losing Viserion
Daenerys wins Jon Snow’s heart by coming with her dragons to rescue him and others from the Night King and his army of the dead in Beyond The Wall. Jon Snow tells Jorah Mormont and others that Daenerys is their only chance to get out of there alive. She comes swooping in at the last minute and saves them except Jon Snow who is later saved by his Uncle Benjen.
Daenerys Tries To Pull Jon on Drogon
Daenerys loses Viserion in the battle. Jon understands what Daenerys’s dragons mean to her and is pretty mad at the Night King.
Daenerys and Jon After Losing Viserion
When everyone thinks Jon is dead she asks Jorah to wait a bit longer. When Jon comes back to Eastwatch on Benjen’s horse she probably realizes that she has feelings for him. She is also taken aback when she looks at Jon’s wounds from getting stabbed by the men of the Night’s Watch.
Daenerys Realizes That She Has Feelings For Jon Snow
When Jon wakes up he expresses his condolences on losing Viserion and he wishes that they had never gone beyond the wall. Daenerys says she isn’t sorry as you have to see it to know it. He calls her Dany which she doesn’t perhaps like as her brother Viserys used to call her Dany. Then he calls her his Queen upon which Daenerys breaks down. She says, “I hope I deserve it“. Jon assures her by saying, “You do“. Both hold hands and have a moment together.

Jon Snow Calls Daenerys His Queen
It seems like Jon Snow and Daenerys are madly in love with. I am just waiting for the finale on Sunday. May be we will see Jon Snow and Daenerys getting together in the season finale, a moment that all the fans have been eagerly waiting for.
