We saw emotions overflowing on both sides when Jon and Daenerys held hands in the last episode of Game of Thrones. Daenerys realized what she feels for Jon after the Frozen Lake Battle when she saw Jon returning at Eastwatch when everyone else thought that he has gone for good. Jon calls Daenerys her queen. He has been attracted to her since the cave scene at Dragonstone. Viewers are hoping to see Jon Snow Daenerys Sex Scene in the finale of Game of Thrones. But at the same time, viewers are wondering what if something happens when they make love to each other. Can Daenerys get pregnant again? Is that a possibility?

Can Daenerys Get Pregnant Again?
Daenerys thinks that she can’t get pregnant again. She emphasized that recently in her conversation with Jon Snow.

She says, “The Dragons are the only children I’ll ever have. Do you understand?” to which Jon Snow nods. She believes that because of a prophecy by a witch Mirri Maz Duur in season 2 of Game of Thrones. Mirri Maz Duur kills Daenerys’s child in her womb out of vengeance and turns Khal Drogo into a vegetable. Daenerys asks her when Khal Drogo will become normal to which she says, “When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves. When your womb quickens again, and you bear a living child. Then he will return, and not before.”

She also says that only death can pay for life. Her prophecy has been parsed by Game of Thrones fans in many ways. Maybe Mirri Maz Duur is talking about the winter that is upon Westeros and the Great War. So the part where she says about the sun rising in the west and setting in the east and when the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves is about the winter in Westeros. And Daenerys just lost a dragon so she has paid for a new life to be born in a literal sense.

Other hints that show makers have given to us is when Tyrion talks about Daenerys’s successor. He says since she can’t have children maybe there are other ways to choose a successor. Also, when Daenerys visits the House of the Undying she has visions. She sees the Wall. Maybe her destiny is Jon Snow who is at the Wall and to bear a child with him. Maybe her child with Jon Snow would be the Prince that was promised. Daenerys and Jon both want to leave a better world behind. Perhaps it all adds up to Daenerys getting pregnant again and bearing a child with Jon Snow.
Can Daenerys Get Pregnant According To The Books?
In the books, Rhaegar Targaryen’s love for Lyanna Stark has been symbolized by a blue rose. During a tournament, Rhaegar gave Lyanna a single blue rose after he won a battle. Everyone thought that he was gonna put that rose in Elia Martell’s lap. Later, Ned Stark dreamt of Jon’s birth and noted that the room smells of roses. Many believed that Jon was the rose, which was given by Rhaegar to Lyanna.

Also in the books, when Daenerys went to the House of the Undying, a blue rose appeared growing in a chink in a wall of ice, again representing Jon who was at The Wall. A blue rose hasn’t been shown in the show. Also, in book five, Daenerys has cramps and bleeds quite a bit after a long time. Maybe it’s her womb quickening again.
