Game of Thrones Season 8 Filming To Begin Soon

A few days earlier Nikolaj Coster-Waldau dropped a hint for the filming to start in October. Thanks to Ray Jorden, a twitterati we now know that Maise Williams has been stopped in Belfast, Northern Ireland, which houses a production center of Game of Thrones.

Maise Williams may have been called in earlier because of all the fighting sequences she needs to be trained for in the upcoming battles of the long night and the great war.

We will see other actors dropping by soon. This production center houses the famous set of Winterfell castle.

The Importance of the Belfast Game of Thrones Set in Game of Thrones Season 8

The Game of Thrones production crew has been working on the set quite hard.

Winterfell is going to be a central place of a rendezvous for all of the remaining Game of Thrones cast to fight the long night and the great war. There are going to be several reunions there between the surviving GOT characters. I am pretty sure that there is going to be a battle scene at Winterfell between the Night King and his army of the dead (not to forget the undead Viserion) and Daenerys, Jon Snow and their allies. So we will see a lot of Game of Thrones characters pouring into Belfast over the next few days.
