Is Night King Headed To Isle of Faces?

In the final moments of Game of Thrones‘ seventh season, we saw the Night King bring down the Wall at Eastwatch-by-the-Sea and then crossing into Westeros with the army of the dead at his back. There are a couple of places the Night King might be heading while mounted on undead/wight dragon Viserion, along with his army of the dead.

Can he be headed to Isle of Faces? Possibly, yes. The Isle of Faces is an island located at the center of Gods Eye, an immense lake on the south-eastern edge of the Riverlands and the north-western edge of the Crownlands. The castle of Harrenhal lies on the coast of the lake to the north of the isle.

The Isle of Faces has significant importance for the people of Westeros. It is regarded as a sacred place where the Old of Westeros . According to a myth, it was here that the Children of the Forest and the First Men signed The Pact, the treaty that ended centuries of warfare between the two peoples.

Priests of the Old Gods known as the Green Men dwell here since the Andals invasion. According to legend, the island is filled with weirwood trees. Each of the trees has a face, carved in witness to the signing of the Pact. Rumor is that the Green Men keep the common folk of Westeros away from the Isle of Faces with magic. The Night King might want to use the magical powers of the Isle to give life to his undead army. Game of Thrones series has mentioned Gods Eye a few times inwhere the isle of faces resides.

Army of the Dead forms a Stark Sigil at Eastwatch

There was this a tiny detail in Game of Thrones Season 7 finale where army of the dead while crossing the wall at Eastwatch formed a Stark sigil. Some people have theorized that Brandon Stark is the Night King which the actor Isaac Hempstead Wright who plays Brandon Stark has rejected. What if the Night King is Brandon Stark? Anyway, the first stop for the Night King after taking Castle Black will most likely be Winterfell. We will most likely witness a battle between Jon Snow, Daenerys and her dragons and the Night King and his undead dragon.

To go more crazy, Night King (who is Brandon Stark?) will march upon Winterfell and then King’s Landing. He will kill all the main surviving characters of Game of Thrones and then go to the Gods Eye where Isle of Faces is and revive all those who are dead. A win in the end for Westerosis. So basically Brandon will totally annihilate the army of the dead and bring everyone back to the living.

Let’s see if this crazy theory plays out this way. What do you all think? Leave your comments.
